Can I host both my ceremony and reception at Sparrow on Main?
Yes, our Complete Wedding Package is ideal for couples wanting to host both their ceremony and reception at Sparrow on Main. Guests can enjoy cocktail hour on the Garden Patio while the Main Room is being transitioned.
Do you provide tables and chairs?
Yes! We have round tables and chairs for up to 300 guests. Additionally, we provide 6 foot and 4 foot rectangle tables as well as cocktail tables.
What is required for clean-up?
All rentals, personal items, and anything else brought in for your event must be removed from the space the night of your event. You or your caterer and vendors are responsible for collecting all trash from the Main Room and disposing of it in the dumpsters located on the east side of our building. Clean-up of your items must be completed during your rental time block.
What are the options for getting ready at Sparrow on Main?
All wedding packages include the use of our bridal and groom suites. The bridal suite is complete with comfortable furniture, vanities, and a full-length mirror. The groom’s suite is a smaller room with a large television and direct access to our outdoor area allowing the men to come and go.
Do you provide linens, glassware, etc.?
We have black and white table linens available for an additional fee. Glassware can be rented through your caterer or bartending service. For other inquiries or recommendations regarding vendors, please request a preferred vendor list.
What is your vendor policy?
We currently are an open vendor venue; however, all vendors must provide a certificate of insurance. Additionally, caterers and bartenders must also be licensed, insured, and have staff on-site for the duration of your event. For other inquiries or recommendations regarding vendors, please request a preferred vendor list.
Are candles allowed?
Yes; however, all candles must be contained in votives, and the flame must be 2” below the top of the container. Open flames are not allowed anywhere in the building.
Are there decorating restrictions?
Yes, you may only affix objects to the walls with painter’s tape or mounting putty. You are allowed to do draping and rigging from the wood and steel beams. We do not allow the use of glitter, confetti, stickers, or silly string. Rose petals, rice, bird seed, and/or sparklers may only be used outside the facility and must be cleaned up by the host after the event.
Do you have a sound system?
No, any sound equipment must be provided by a band and/or DJ or other rental company.
What is the cancellation policy?
If your event is canceled due to no fault of Sparrow on Main, the entire deposit will be retained by Sparrow on Main. The only exception to this is if Sparrow on Main is able to book another event on the same date and conduct that event in full. If such is the case, the host will be entitled to a 75% refund.
Where do my guests park?
Parking at the venue is reserved for the event host and family, vendors, and Sparrow on Main staff. Guests may park in any public parking at City Hall or in spaces in Old Town Lewisville. A parking map is available upon request. Valet services are listed on our preferred vendor list.
